About this tool
What EXIF Metadata Viewer does
Every out-of-camera JPEG can carry camera model, lens, settings, timestamps, and GPS. That is useful for your own QA — and risky when a public listing exposes a property’s exact coordinates or when a board prefers clean files. This viewer surfaces the metadata and can export a stripped copy.
Use it after convert (RAW/HEIC → JPEG) and before MLS upload. Confirm you shot at the shutter and ISO you think you did when blur or noise appears, then strip GPS for privacy-safe delivery. Formats typically include JPEG, HEIC, and TIFF depending on the file.
Combine with MLS Ready for a full preflight (size, sRGB, GPS flags, naming). Smart Compressor can also strip EXIF during size reduction. For listing polish that does not invent staging, use the FOCAL RAYS editor on clean masters.
Privacy line: treat client properties carefully — if GPS is present and not required, strip it before the file leaves your machine.

FAQ
Common questions
Does stripping reduce quality?
You export a clean re-encoded copy; visual quality remains high at standard JPEG settings.
Why remove GPS?
Many boards and privacy-conscious sellers prefer listing media without exact coordinates.
What metadata can I see?
Camera, lens, exposure settings, and GPS when present in the file.
What should I run after stripping?
MLS Ready to confirm the pack still meets board technical rules.
